You can expect
To be fully immersed and involved in learning all aspects of operating and maintaining your ocean cruising boat including steering, watch standing, sail trim, anchoring, provisioning, cooking, cleaning, and vessel repair.
To gain essential knowledge and skills needed to make sound decisions about refitting, outfitting, and maintaining your cruising vessel.
To be challenged, to be excited, and to become capable and confident in handling and operating your vessel.
8-10 hours per day of dedicated instructional time.

If you need sea time with a captain on a boat you recently purchased in order to obtain insurance, please include pre-purchase survey reports and the vessel listing if possible. If it is not still online your broker can provide you with an archived listing from Sold Boats.
We are able to travel most anywhere on the globe to assist you with training or complete delivery training. If your boat is located internationally please let us know when you inquire.
Private training aboard your boat starts at $1200/day plus all travel and local expenses. In most cases, 5 days is sufficient to meet insurance needs.
