Whether you own a new-to-you boat, are venturing offshore for the first time, or simply want to improve your skills and confidence, we’re here to help. Our private ocean sailing training and boat maintenance instruction are designed to prepare you to set sail safely and successfully. We’re happy to tailor your training to your specific goals and insurance qualification requirements.
In addition to hands-on sailing and maintenance training, we also offer owner assist training deliveries. We will join you aboard your boat to help you make a delivery or passage while providing training. Whether you’re bringing your boat to a new location or delivering it to a new owner, we’ll guide you through the process. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience while learning how to manage and maintain your vessel in the context of an actual delivery.
Our goal is to equip you not only with the sailing skills to confidently cruise on your own boat but also with the practical knowledge to handle maintenance and troubleshooting tasks should you need to. With our training, you’ll be prepared to cruise further and stay out longer, all while having the peace of mind that comes with knowing you have the skills to manage your boat safely and effectively.

10 hours per day of dedicated instructional time.
A certificate documenting your experience and training to assist you with meeting insurance requirements.
We also offer private sail training for up to 2 people aboard our Swedish-built 2002 Malӧ 39, providing a unique opportunity to learn on a proven, well-maintained bluewater cruising boat at unique destinations around the globe.
This personalized training experience can be tailored to your skill level, whether you're new to sailing or looking to learn offshore cruising seamanship and skills. With our expert instruction on a vessel we know intimately and have sailed over 15,000 nautical miles, you’ll gain hands-on experience in boat handling, navigation, and essential sailing skills.

Email us the details of your vessel including its location, crew, timeline, and any specific training requests such as your insurance requirements.
If you need sea time with a captain on a boat you recently purchased in order to obtain insurance, please include pre-purchase survey reports and the vessel listing if possible. If it is not still online your broker can provide you with an archived listing from Sold Boats.
We are able to travel most anywhere on the globe to assist you with training or complete delivery training. If your boat is located internationally please let us know when you inquire.
